Le troisième A400M (ZM402/A4M017; msn 017) a effectué son premier vol le 23 Décembre 2014.

Pour rappel , le second avait effectué le sien le 23 Octobre.

Le Scorpion évalué par la RAF et la Royal Navy; un remplaçant possible au regretté Nimrod, si, si  

"Over the past two weeks, Scorpion has been flying in the UK with the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force. Over a series of exercise scenarios, the Royal Navy has paired the Scorpion with a number of the Sea King Airborne Surveillance and Control (SKASaC) crews. In doing so, we have gained valuable test and evaluation data by operating the Scorpion in the Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) and Joint Personnel Recovery (JPR) roles."

bon, ben le Nimrod n'aura que trop manqué à la surveillance des zones maritimes britanniques. La RAF vient en effet de commander neuf P-8 Poseidon !
Ce Boeing est actuellement incontournable dans le rôle PATMAR à longue distance. Au fait, ou en est le projet A319MPA ?
